Something About Peonies

Something About Peonies is a new YA fiction novel written by up and coming young author Ellie Christene. 119,362 words and 316 pages long, it tells the story of Cat Riddle, a not-so-typical teenage girl who goes through a pretty typical experience. 16-year-old Cat Riddle certainly isn't your typical teenager. In fact, you might even call her quite the opposite. With her gay mothers, hobbies that are unlike most other kids' her age, and her issues, which go by the technical names of Asperger's Syndrome and Tourette's Syndrome, she's really anything but normal. So what will happen when Cat manages to do one of the most normal things a person can do? Fall in love, that is.

Ellie Christene is a young up and coming author from Pennsylvania. Something About Peonies is her first (completed) novel, but hopefully not the last. Ellie is a contributor to the television review site Gotta Watch It! In addition to novels, she also writes poetry, short stories, and fanfiction. She’s a self-proclaimed geek who loves history jokes, movie references, and Harry Potter. A member of both the LGBT+ and mental illness communities, Ellie brings a personal touch to her stories.
