Caryl Wolff has been training dogs and their people for over 20 years. She wrote Puppy Socialization: An Insider’s Guide to Dog Behavioral Fitness because socialization is such an important part in a puppy’s life and there were many articles on socialization but no comprehensive book. The Puppy Potty Training book was written because there are many misconceptions and conflicting advice about potty training. Potty training is a primary reason why people relinquish their dogs. She wants dogs to stay in forever homes. The Teacup books were written because in spring 2011, she had several clients with teacup puppies and dogs. In her 20+years of training, she had worked with small and toy dogs (and even taught small dog classes) and thought that working with teacups would be similar to working with them. She discovered yes, there are similarities, but because of their size and different developmental stages, there are significant differences. She learned from both her clients and other dog professionals and also drew on years of experience to write these books.
