Joseph D. Hayes MS, LPC, NCC. is known as Counselor Joe. He graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with a Master of Science in Community Counseling in 1997. Mr. Hayes owns and operates a private practice in Mount Pleasant Texas 75455. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor that specializes in anger management, depression, stress management and adolescent defiance. Mr. Hayes developed an anger management theory called Cool Anger (TM). He enjoys writing, speaking and training dogs in his spare time. Curt Pitton is a counselor and psychotherapist at Lakes Regional MHMR in Greenville, Texas and has been working with addicts, alcoholics and criminal populations within the substance abuse and criminal justice fields for the past 33 years. he holds specializations in addictionology, stress management, dual disorder diagnosis and treatment, depressive disorders, biofeedback, hypnosis and thanatoslogy (death and dying). He was an adjunct and one time ad intern professor of psychology at Texas A&M University-Commerce for 12 years (from 1999 to 2012). He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Addiction Specialist and a Certified Acudetox (auricular acupuncturist) Specialist. He has presented at numerous conferences and workshops in Texas and the Southwest U.S. and served on the Ft. Worth Cult Awareness Council in the late 1980’s.
