A former actor, director and English teacher, Steve Liskow (www.steveliskow.com) now serves as a mentor and panelist for both Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime. His short stories have earned an Edgar nomination and the Black Orchid Novella Award. He sets the Zach Barnes series (also featuring Hartford police detectives Trash & Byrne) in or around central Connecticut, where he lives with his wife and two rescued cats. Those books deal with issues including teen trafficking on the Berlin Turnpike and a shooting at a public school. The Kids Are All Right is his fourth novel featuring Barnes and eighth overall. Blood on the Tracks introduces Detroit PI Chris ＂Woody＂ Guthrie and draws on Steve’s experience as a guitarist, and Postcards of the Hanging draws on a scandal from his high school years.
