The Secret in the Hall of Records

For centuries, rumors have persisted of a lost Hall of Records under the Sphinx in Egypt, containing artifacts left by the advanced race of Atlantis before the Flood. No one has found the Hall of Records ... so far.

An elderly inventor in Mystic, Connecticut, learns of the Hall of Records and has reason to believe it holds the ability to see the past and future. Unable to go himself, he asks Jeff Silver, editor of the town’s newspaper, to travel to Egypt in search of this mystical power.

Grieving at the loss of a dear friend, Silver declines. But it seems fate has decided he has a role to play, and subsequent events bring him into conflict with forces far greater than he had anticipated.
