Growing up in the 1940s and 1950s in the village of Hubbardston, Michigan, Jane Allen Quevedo, worked for more than forty years as a writer, editor, teacher, and communication director. Now retired, she is a 30-year resident of Florida. She has a master’s degree in English with emphasis in creative writing and has published two other books: Tough Guy, Gentle Heart (Infinity Publishing), and A Thousand Miracles Every Day (TEACH Services). She edited the 100-Year Story of White Memorial Medical Center, Los Angeles, California, in 2013, and has contributed chapters for two upcoming books by the Society for American Baseball Research.
