Children’s Hospice

Atop a barren hill, in a dreadful land of constant thunder, jagged mountains and haunted forests, just around the corner from Londis, there stands the Children's Hospice - a terrible tower where all children go to die. Little baby Victor fell foul of mummy and daddy's playtime and he is on his way there now - which is terrible timing, for it is Christmas day. And his birthday. But little baby Victor's suffering will soon be over. Mummy's won't be.

Joe Gardner is the author of The Life and Loves of Jet Tea and Oh, Vienna! (a collection of short stories). He lives and works in London and will continue writing until something bites his fingers off. Children’s Hospice is based on a story developed with musician and Rochdale native Danny Tomlinson.
