Born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, Lady Kellz moved to Baltimore, MD in 2011 where she decided to start focusing on her lifelong dreams and passions. Lady Kellz started writing poems at a very young age. Growing up in the 80’s as a bi-racial female, this was her outlet to the negativity she perceived because of her race. Always putting her feelings on paper, she knew this is what God had destined for her. Lady Kellz had always been an avid reader. Her mom probably put a book in her hand at birth. Her constant reading motivated her to become an author herself.
