Wandering in the Wilderness: (Kinky, Quirky, and Desperation Stories)

A collection of a dozen stories, four of which have been previously published in small press litmags. Most of these stories are mainstream/literary fiction, but there are some dark and quirky tales included. The stories in this volume are "Fawn," "Howdy Doody Time," "Melody," "Victim of Crime," "Carnival," "Surface Tension," "Hero," "Listen," "Radio Waves," which is a little kinky in the consenting adult sense, "The Philosopher," a new story written for this collection, and two stories from 1974: "The Girl With the Stringy Hair," and "Daisy Cup," a novella.

I’m an old guy, born 1950. I’ve been writing since 5th grade and getting published since 1974. Now, here, and in several other volumes, I’m in the process of gathering my fiction, finishing some things and even doing some new things, taking advantage of the opportunities afforded by Kindle, Nook, and Createspace. I’m pretty quirky generally and I admit I like not having to appeal to editors anymore.
