The Goodness: A prose Poetry Works

When I Am Writing Sitting here mid the stillness, in this moment fond, quiet and connected; my time alone to play with God, has come. As I dance with Him through tender woods and fields of green. Pondering new days joys beheld those of cool winds awakened visions of things unseen. Cradled in His arms of love waltzing away as one amid our fond ascension, and euphoric, concatenation. Catching leaves together with quill in hand, as they fall, while to the thrill of my minds contentment, days of my youth return to me as the true goodness of their nature, I recall, while scales of worries slip away and my heart soars Free. Yes amid this simple beauty I find God, through the patient art, of Poetry. "As His love and hope, and peace fulfill me, covering me; protecting me teaching me; advancing me; directing me; holding me carrying me; molding me honing me completing me; when I am writing ... "

James Lee Long, was raised in a dysfunctional family till the age of 8, after floating around in various foster homes. He is an athletic, creative and fun loving person. There is also a very contemplative, and withdrawn side to him as well. His poetry is a vehicle to reach out to others, both in a sense of offering them his own experiences, and speaking for validation of his own. He is he feels now overcoming solely through the Power of God’s Love, and many other good folks concerned for him, some mental and learning disabilities as well as past ever increasing Alcoholism and Drug abuse, to become a writer. Later in his life, he has found God, and has been working for the next man’s peace and his own ever since.
