A Loss Of Innocence

A LOSS OF INNOCENCE tells the story of Frank Norton and Nora Seagram, university students caught up in the upheaval of the Vietnam War. Nora hates the war; Frank defends it.Their lives are thrown into a tailspin when Nora becomes pregnant. Her pregnancy shatters Frank's dream of becoming a doctor. Their relationship is put to the test when Frank speaks words he later regrets... "I don't even know if I'm the father...."Frank drops out of college and is shipped to Vietnam. He comes home an amputee to a severely disabled baby and an indifferent nation.

Anthony Sirianni was born in Italy. He lived in Canada as a teenager. Received a BA and MA from Fairfield University. He taught foreign languages for 33 years in southwestern Connecticut. He has written poetry, and several novels and screenplays. A LOSS OF INNOCENCE, a story of love and war, is his first publication.
