Maggie Plummer is a writer and editor who grew up in Detroit, Michigan hearing about Montana almost every day. In 1984, having worked odd jobs all over the United States and also having earned her bachelors degree in Journalism, she finally moved to northwest Montana. Maggie has lived there ever since. Along the lengthy, winding trail to becoming a novelist, she has written for newspapers and magazines, driven a school bus, delivered pizzas, waitressed, conducted field interview research, gutted and cleaned fish, processed library books, sold ice cream from a Good Humor ice cream truck, baited hooks for sports fishermen, walked race horses, and picked apples. Maggie is the author of SPIRITED AWAY - A NOVEL OF THE STOLEN IRISH (2012, CreateSpace Independent Publishing) and PASSING IT ON: VOICES FROM THE FLATHEAD INDIAN RESERVATION (2008, Salish Kootenai College Press, Pablo, Montana). DARING PASSAGE: BOOK TWO OF THE SPIRITED AWAY SAGA is her second published novel. She is already writing her next work of fiction.
