The great American west was a place which gave birth to legends. Some men became legends through industry, some through the barrel of a six shooter, and some became legends by sheer luck. Others however became legends simply because they owned an ill behaved dog and a stubborn mule. This is the story of one such man. Alouicious Rucker was a simple farmer who, like many young men of the reconstruction era, decided to pull up stakes and try his luck prospecting for silver. During the journey however, destiny intervened, and the humble Rucker became known as one of the most heroic figures in the west... ...
