Erik Boe currently works at VMware, where he defines and implements software delivery models. Prior to that, he worked at Adobe, where he was part of a global technology group delivering solutions to all Adobe product teams. This central and unique position enabled him to gain deep insight into technology portfolio management and innovation across the company. Before joining Adobe, he was with a start-up struggling to deliver Internet storage solutions. He started his career with Apple. He was there before, during, and after the turnaround, first in the Mac OS group and later in the hardware division. He had roles ranging from software engineer to manager and program manager, driving company-wide efforts focused on optimizing technology delivery and innovation. He has a master’s in international business from Pepperdine University and a bachelor of computer science from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He grew up in Norway and later moved to California to join the personal computer revolution. He currently lives in California with his wife, three children, a dog, and a cat.
