A talented and imaginative writer, Mark Francisco Bozzuti-Jones, offers a unique prayer book for his beloved Rastafarians and all who have heard about Bob Marley and are curious about the Rastas of Jamaica. Mark has always found the wisdom of the Rastas inspiring, prophetic, and life-giving, and so he wanted to gift the Rastafarian community with a Book of Common Prayer. The Rastafari Book of Common Prayer was revealed to him on a visit to Ethiopia. The Rev. Dr. Bozzuti-Jones is priest for pastoral care and community at Trinity Wall Street and is a regular retreat facilitator and spiritual director. Born and educated in Kingston, Jamaica, he attended St. George’s College, a Jesuit high school, and the University of the West Indies. He completed graduate studies at Loyola University, Chicago; the Jesuit School of Theology, Berkeley; the University of San Francisco, San Francisco; Weston Jesuit School of Theology, Cambridge; and the Aquinas Institute of Theology, St. Louis. Mark is an award-winning author and has published numerous books, including The Gospel of Barack Hussein Obama According to Mark, The Womb of Advent, Never Said A Mumbalin’ Word, The Miter Fits Just Fine: A Biography of Bishop Barbara Harris, Informed by Faith, Sing the Faith: Spirituals, Jesus the Word, God Thought of You, and God Created.
