A Job for Penelope

Penelope wants to go to work just like her family does. But what’s a good job for a cuddly little dog? When the lovable Boston terrier sets out to explore different careers, none of them seem to be the right fit. Then one happy day, while visiting Grandpop’s retirement home, Penelope finds her true calling.

Melanie Mikecz is an artist and illustrator who earned a B.F.A in Visual Communications from the Washington University School of Art in St. Louis. Melanie loves drawing a menagerie of colorful creatures and geometric abstracts. When she’s not creating art, she enjoys long distance running and hiking. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and two rambunctious daughters.
