Bishop Getties L. Jackson, Sr. is devoted to promoting a clear understanding and relevant application of Scripture in order to bring about changes in urban communities by teaching Kingdom of God principles in a way that even a child can understand. Bishop Jackson is chosen by the Lord to bring forth a vision through Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center. He is the founding Senior Pastor of Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center, which began in March of 1997. Under his leadership the church continues to grow with a flourishing and healthy membership. Kingdom Assembly Outreach Center is blessed to have a Teen Center, Fitness Center, and a Kingdom Bookstore along with administrative offices. Bishop Jackson was married to Mrs. De’Anita Frye Jackson on January 29, 1983. They have one son and two daughters: Getties Jr., Angelica, and Crystal. He is a graduate of Emanuel Bible College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology and a Master’s of Divinity from M. Christopher White School of Divinity at Gardner Webb University in Christian Education. Bishop Jackson is among the first of the five African Americans to receive his Masters of Divinity degree (a 100 year old institution) from Gardner Webb University. With a strong focus on language proficiency in Greek and Hebrew. Bishop Jackson is known as an anointed teacher and preacher of the gospel and effective visionary. He is the founder and past Executive Producer of Urban Contemporary Gospel of WLFJ Radio in Greenville, South Carolina. Previously he served as Chairman of the School Improvement Council at Northwood Middle School. Bishop is also a graduate of the Leadership Greer Class of XXVIII and he formerly served as a Board member of the chamber of Commerce. His relational attitude has built a strong repor with local churches and political leaders alike.
