Richard Scott was born in Lima, Ohio in 1951, moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of 10. Upon graduating from High School in 1969, at the age of 17, he moved to Madison, Wisconsin to pursue higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He recieved his Bachelors of Arts degree in 1974 and his Masters of Science in Social Work (MSSW)degree in August,1975. Richard began his professional career in the Madison Metropolitan Public School District, as a School Social Worker/ Minority Services Coordinator in September,1975. He retired after enjoying 35 years of professional enlightenment. At which time he founded KOJO Productions, Inc.and is currently the CEO/Artistic Director of KOJO Productions, Inc. which is a theatrical production company that focuses on the positive growth and development of local teens. He uses theater as vehicle for youth to tap into their intellectual and creative talents. Richard is the proud father of four adult children and two wonderful grandchildren. He loves working in his yard, riding his motorcycle, playing Chess, reading and spending quality time with his grandchildren!
