ABOUT THE AUTHOR Jo Anne Cracknell is a dual Australian/American citizen living in her beloved Queensland in Australia. After a career in education, television, recruiting, and writing the feasibility study for and the history of Australia’s first private university, she turned to writing fiction and non fiction set in America and Australia combining adventure, suspense and romance. Her autobiography, "Looking Back," tells the true story of events that led to her finding her long lost first love after he was declared dead in Vietnam. The fictionalized version based in part on his covert operations is called "Love and a Hell of a War." Her third recent publication, "Vision in Conflict," is non-fiction, an account of life on the Gold Coast in Australia in the 1980s and the struggle to build Australia’s first private university.
