Maggie Fogarty is a Royal Television Society award winning television producer and journalist, making TV programmes for all the major UK broadcasters. She has also written extensively for a number of national newspapers and magazines. In April 2011 her story ’Namesakes’ was a finalist in the Writers and Artists/WAYB short story competition. ’My Bermuda Namesakes’ was her debut novel and grew out of the original short story. It was written during a year long stay in Bermuda where Maggie’s husband, Paul, was working as a digital forensics consultant. During her time on the island, Maggie wrote a guest column for the Bermuda Sun newspaper. ’Dear Mr DJ’ is Maggie’s second novel and forms part of a planned series called the ’Dilemma Novellas’. The couple now live Cornwall in the far South West of England with their cockapoo dog Bonnie.
