An American Armenian born in Iran, Armineh Helen Ohanian was a published author at age fifteen.
Armineh is the author of three novels and a children storybook series the Talking Animals.
The Apple Tree Blossoms in the Fall is a highly acclaimed creative memoir. This book earned honorable mention in the category of biography and autobiography at the 2014 LA Book Festival. In 2012 Armineh was invited to Oxford University in the United Kingdom to hold a book signing and talk about her memoir during the university’s International Women’s Day celebrations.
Armineh has lived in Europe and the United States since 1962. Currently she lives in Westhampton, New York, with her husband and three cats. She is passionate about writing, reading, playing tennis, and driving sports cars.
