Back in Belmont

After years of searching in vain for romance and adventure, Deanna Danese returns to the Bronx neighborhood where she was born, determined to be a good daughter, friend, and wife. She works in her father’s restaurant, reunites with outspoken cousin Beanie, and agrees to marry old beau, Bobby Leone. But Papa’s restaurant is tanking, Beanie is hiding a devastating secret, and Bobby, as a husband, leaves much to be desired. When Day meets Native American wildlife photographer Lakota Campbell, she entertains the idea of joining him in a life bound only by the limits of imagination. The decision to choose Lakota’s lifestyle or the contentment of home and family begins to weigh heavy on her mind.
