D. Diana (Wilcox) Kosmoski was raised in the Irish settlement of Ridgebury in the mountains of Pennsylvania. She grew up believing in leprechauns and the wee folk- and lived in a magical, humorous world as a child; one that was created by her father, Charles D. Wilcox. She lives with her husband, John, in Wisconsin and has four adult children and 12 grandchildren.
