The Heart of a Child

Widow, Kelly Watson packed up everything she owned in the world and moved to the Midwest chasing hope.  Ohio… with corn fields as far as the eye can see.  With a new medical treatment being done for kids like Kelly’s daughter, Beatrice, all the changes in their lives will be worth it.  Kelly knew the move would require an adjustment period.  What she wasn’t expecting was to move next door to an Old German Baptist couple, who also happen to be her landlords.  With the help of her own daughter, her new landlords and their handsome son, Kelly will find more than hope… she’ll find faith.

Noah Neff has suffered an unimaginable loss.  That devastation has found him living with his parents once more and renting out the farmhouse that holds so many painful memories for him.  However, the little girl who moved in there with her mother is more than just a reminder of what once was… she’s a blessing.  Beatrice’s mother, Kelly, seems to understand what Noah is going through having experienced something similar.  Repairing his relationship with God will be difficult but with the help of a child and her beautiful mother, he’ll find more than his faith… he’ll find hope.
