Life in the Garden

Margot began writing in relation to her business endeavors, but her passion was to write about her primary hobbies of gardening and wines. She has published many articles on gardening and enjoys spending time working her own flower and vegetable beds. She began playing in dirt as a child, but waited to enjoy wine until a more respectable age. Margot’s quest for enjoyable wines has led her to travel, taste, read and write about wines. She is a strong advocate of the expanding status and quality of Virginia wines. Besides numerous wine articles she has written many wine books and has more coming. Margot’s enjoyment of research and finding ways to bring information to others drives her to publish articles and books. Her more serious pursuit of history resulted in her upcoming Civil War book. She resides in the heart of Virginia Wine and Battlefield country with her family.
