The Mansion

When Bobby Carson and his mom move to the island of Pendleton, he expects it just to be a new life. The history of Pendleton is that it was created for all inhabitants to live peacefully and in harmony. But deep within the forest, smack dab in the middle of the island, is an old mansion. The gates have been locked for over a century and legend says that the original owner, King Pendeli, placed a spell over the mansion so that only his true heir can open the locks. Is Pendleton ready to face what truly happened to the King and his family? Are they ready to see what it will take for the new king to claim his throne? Or will the dark forces that are battling to destroy all things good win their battle?

Britney was born February 16, 1989 in Adel, Georgia. Her mom, Sandy, moved her to Phenix City, Alabama when she was about 4 years old and then at 7, they moved to Seale, Alabama where they’ve been ever since. Britney is the oldest of 4 and loves her family, including all their fur babies, dearly. She attended Russell County High School, where she played saxophone in the marching, symphonic, and jazz bands. She graduated with honors in 2008, attended some college, but writing is her passion and she finally decided it was time to put it to use.
