Miki Scott Cutler adds a new series to her repertoire in this first book of Lorna Long Mysteries. Her previous works include SHINAN’S WAY and a memoir, MEMORIES OF A WILD HAIR, as well as several magazine articles. She is currently working on three more Lorna Long mysteries and a dog training manual. She has also written over one hundred songs and performed, though considers herself a very poor guitar player. Miki has spent more of her life with dogs (and horses) than with people, and says she prefers it that way. Her long life has included work in hospitals, veterinarian and doctor offices, teaching, and training dogs. She continues her lifelong fight for the environment. She is currently owned by a feisty Border Collie, who takes her on trips to the Gila Wilderness, Fort Davis and other interesting trails.
