Sandra Adams earned a B.S. in Exercise Physiology in 1984 from California State University, Fullerton. With minors in music and in English, she spent most of her career in music, in professional studio singing and also 21 years in worship music directorships. While raising and competing Arabian horses, she also has spent 31 years married to former UCLA Head Baseball Coach, Gary Adams, raised two daughters, and now is also raising Syrh and Malbec grapes in the Tehachapi Mountains. Her first work as an author was a simple record-keeping log for her passioned sport of endurance riding. It was followed quickly by a log for other equine sports, and a delightful essay called "Camptown Races." While editing and publishing books for her husband, Sandy also published other books, such as "Creature Comforts: When Your Pet Says Goodbye... and Other Things", "Cookery, Shmookery", and others. She is still writing.
