G J Lee is a freelance writer, artist, and poet. She has been writing poetry since she was a child, partly to cope with a difficult childhood. She lives in Far North Queensland, Australia. She is a mother of five adult children, several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, and reckons that there is so much more left to do in her life.
