Syndicated columnist and novelist Cappy Hall Rearick has been nominated twice for the Georgia Author of the Year Award. She holds membership in the National Society of Newspaper Columnists, Georgia Writers, North Carolina Writers, Florida Writers, South Carolina Writers and the National Association of Memoir Writers. In addition to her syndicated columns, Rearick writes a monthly humor piece for the Lowcountry Senior Sun and is a frequent contributor to After Fifty Living on line. She is the author of six published books. She received some of her education from the University of South Carolina but most of it from living.
