Mary was a senior in college when she committed her life to the Lordship of Christ. Upon graduation, rather than pursue her engineering career, she became a missionary. Often she was asked why she gave up the money and the opportunities offered her as a woman engineer. Her response was always that she did not give up anything. If God wanted her to be an engineer again one day, she would be. Twenty years later she was getting her Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and her Professional Engineering License in Mechanical Engineering. Earlier she had received her Master’s Degree in Counseling. Mary would say the path she followed is the one God planned for her. He has walked with her the whole way. One of her favorite comments is from The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom - There are no ifs in the will of God. She is retired now and is focusing on writing and ministry. She lives with family in Sacramento, CA.
