Born and raised in the south of France, Amaria Rebiai always had the urge to set out and discover the world. After taking the opportunity to complete her Master’s degree in Foreign Languages (she’s fluent in French, English, Spanish as well as conversational Arabic) in Vancouver, Canada, she’s since set out to both live and work in Ireland, Canada and Saudi Arabia. Her travels have taken her to South Africa, Cuba, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Martinique, and the list continues. Wherever she travels, her camera is never too far behind. She enjoys capturing unique images of people’s daily lives in the lands she visits, as well as immortalizing beautiful landscapes and monuments. Amaria also enjoys using the written word, online or in print, to help her readers take part in her unique journeys. In her book A Window Into Cuba’s Soul, she shares her decade-long love affair with Cuba and it’s people by recounting the stories of fifteen Cubans linked by family ties and friendship.
