Bobby G. Priest is an Arkansas native. He attended the University of Arkansas School of Architecture, is an avid pilot, golfer, singer/songwriter, homebuilder and master carpenter. Because of a long struggle with a gambling addiction and bad choices, Bobby was sentenced to one year in the Nevada Dept, of Corrections and upon his release was extradited back to his home state of Arkansas to serve a 3-1/2 term with most of that time spent at the Benton Work Release Unit in the Dept. of Corrections. Bobby indeed has a unique perspective from which to write about the prison system, as two of his uncles did time in Arkansas during the most turbulent time of that institution; and their stories still reverberate to this day.
