The Trials and Crucifixion of Jesus

The life and death of Jesus Christ marks the focal point for not just the way we date history, but even for human history itself.Jesus underwent several trials--from both Jewish and Roman authorities--on that fateful Friday two thousand years ago. How legal were the trials according to Jewish and Roman law? What happens during crucifixion to cause a person to die?

Although Bill Kincaid spent over 35 years practicing law in Texas, he started out as a writer and journalist. He was sports editor and political editor for his high school paper, Managing Editor and Editor of his university newspaper, and worked for several Texas newspapers before earning his doctor of jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University’s School of Law. Several of his articles and columns received state-wide honors.
