About the Author MELVIN G. BROWN is the author of the autobiography The Sanctamooja and me. Mel was born in 1940. He grew up in Eastern Washington, and spent a lot of his young life on a small homestead in Northern Idaho with his grandparents. He has amassed a lifetime of adventures and experiences. Mel is able to bring a bit of down-home feel to everything he writes. Mel lives and writes on the coast of Oregon near the city of Waldport. SCOTT S. WATTS was born, 1950, in Wallace Idaho. He joined the United States Air force in 1969. He served eight years then received a commission in the United States Army. He served another four years active duty then spent an-other sixteen years in the Army reserve. Scott graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in clinical psychology. Much later he completed a Master’s degree in Psychology from The University of Phoenix. Scott presently lives in Northern Idaho and works in social services.
