Television may have glamorized the self storage industry but facility managers know it's like any other business - it has its up and downs. Finding cartons of drugs in a unit that was supposed to be empty is one the downs for manager Marlena Montoya. From that low point it all goes downhill. The county task force puts an undercover cop on the payroll, one of the owners gets personal and the local detective stays for dinner. When two men are murdered and the victims are tied to the facility it falls to Marlena to hunt for the truth, with an assist from Monarch Beach's only detective - John Kincaid.
