Tudor Rickards is based at Manchester Business School in the UK, where he is Emeritus Professor of Creativity and Organizational Change. He is the author of over twenty books on business, sport, politics, innovation, and leadership. He is regularly quoted in the British media for his advocacy of non-traditional approaches to education. Tudor was educated at Pontypridd Boys’ Grammar School and went on to study chemistry and radiation chemistry at The University of Wales and New York Medical College. He returned to the UK to work for Unilever Laboratories before joining Manchester Business School. His recent media contributions include the BBC Radio 4 documentary Oblique Strategies. His eBook "The Manchester Method: A Leaders We Deserve Monograph" is based on over a thousand posts originally published on his blog, Leaders We Deserve, over the period 2006-2015. He is an enthusiastic social tennis player, and has also played chess to international level, representing Wales as a Schoolboy.
