Raised in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., the youngest of four children to be left to Grandparents to raise after the death of their daughter and the desertion of their son-in-law. There were no material things in our life. No one said, "I love you", we felt it through concern for one another. My pleasure came from the praise I got when I did something to help another. It gives me pleasure to share my thoughts in this book and I hope you too will find real happiness in just being you.
