Kathryn Judson is the author of numerous books, including Why We Raise Belgian Horses, Trouble Pug, Not Exactly Dead, Not Exactly Innocent, Not Exactly Allies, The Smolder, The Birdwatcher, The Unexpecteds, The Hidden, and Notes From Hiding. She grew up in the American West, and worked for many years as a newspaper reporter and columnist. After that, she and her husband operated an independent bookstore in Oregon for many years. Mrs. Judson closed the bookstore after her husband’s death. She began writing novels during the bookstore years, and continues to write.
