K.D. Nelson is a prolific writer who fell in love with the written word at an early age. She has been engaged in creative storytelling since she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of ten, and has since penned and told a varied of tales that carry her audience to new worlds filled with mystery, romance, adventure and horror. The scent of old books as well as new books fresh off the printing press send her imagination exploring with new ideas for the next adventure. Now married with three kids, Nelson makes her home in a small town in Iowa.
