Dori Hoch was born and raised in Southeast Pennsylvania. Growing up, she loved playing school, especially as the teacher. Not surprisingly, she taught elementary school for many years where she developed the love of writing and teaching her students to write. Now retired, she continues to follow her passion. Her first "Pearl" book, Pearl of Richmond School, is a historical fiction story set in the early 1900’s in rural America. After reading holiday stories to her three grandchildren, she created a comical fictional tale with characters Bobby and Benjamin Bunny called The Easter Bunny Brothers and has written a sequel, The Bunny Brothers’ First Thanksgiving. Hoch is the proud mother of a son and daughter and lives in Blandon, Pa with her very patient husband, Frank.
