Nicole Beinstein has loved to write ever since she was a young girl growing up in Hong Kong and New York City. She studied psychology at Cornell University and then business at the Yale School of Management, where she was chosen as her class’ commencement speaker. As a grown-up, she has held many different kinds of jobs in multiple industries, which have all provided her with great experiences, knowledge and stories for her writing. She won three book awards in 2010 for a photographic memoir that she co-authored with George Stranahan, and is currently teaching middle school at a rural charter school as well as Sustainable Business at Colorado Mountain College in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She moved to Redstone, Colorado with her family in 2007.
