Deon Mixon (b. Deon Christopher Mixon Jr., 1995) is a graphic designer, author, and poet from Detroit, MI. He began writing the Lethal Creed story at 17 years old, after having daydreamed it for three years prior, and his poetry consists of free verse, haiku, and sonnets. Mixon is an alumnus of Cass Technical High School (2013) and Western Michigan University (2017) with his BFA in Graphic Design. His work, both design and literary, are a reflection and embodiment of his overall identity and affinity for themes including God, existentialism, realism, monumentality, minimalism, wabi-sabi, and Swiss design. His purpose in writing is to witness to people the mysteries of God, expounding through fiction why He is the only one that people should live their lives for. Mixon is currently based in his hometown of Detroit.
