Richard Dorrance lives next door to Gwenny and Roger June, on historic Church Street in America’s most beautiful town, Charleston, South Carolina. The constant parties and soirees don’t bother him, though he wonders about the occasional strange nocturnal goings-on. He likes them as neighbors, and especially likes their dog who communicates with him telepathically. Much to the June’s displeasure, the dog squeals to Richard about the capers they get involved in, which provides him with the fodder he uses to write the books in the series called The Junes of Charleston.
