A Promise From Above

It all started with forever, the word that kept David and Angela’s promise strong. These two special people were about to learn howstrong their promise really was.David was sent to do a very importantjob and that’s how David became the Promise from Above!

Angela is a positive, energetic and funny young woman who loves to make others smile! She is a strong girl who has overcome many difficult obstacles; including the loss of her love David. Angela found while writing and sharing this story it was therapeutic during her grieving experience. Angela hopes to share her incredible story and help children grieve the loss of their loved ones. Angela is currently studying Education at the College of Staten Island and is scheduled to graduate in June of 2016. She also loves to dance and shares her passion of dance by working as a dance teacher at her local dance studio. Angela is grateful for all of her family and friends as well as David’s family and friends for their love and support through the loss of CPL Oquendo. Angela feels she is very blessed to have such a beautiful angel guiding her and she knows that no matter what he will love her forever... just like he promised.
