This is the second installment to Haunted Pasts. Follow along as Ashley Baker, and Lance Copeland are introduced in a three part series of love, suspense and hidden pasts. Ashley is a Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army reserves; her best friend is Tracy Jax. Tracy and Jeff are kidnapped while on their honeymoon, and Ashley and Lance are sent in as a married couple to rescue Tracy and Jeff. Ashley has always kept to herself hiding a past from everyone around her including the Army.Lance has always admired Ashley from a distance; he has to keep his distance because if he was to be kept in a room with her for too long he would lose his mind. So when Ashley and Lance are sent on the same mission together and are having to play a married couple, Lance doesn’t know if he can keep his distance. Everything about Ashley drives him over the edge, and one night with her could very easily blow their mission clear out of the water.
