Marlene Chabot, a native Minnesotan, began her writing career in 1995 with her first mystery novel and expanded her writing skills to include freelance articles for magazines in 2007. She received a B.S. degree in education from St. Cloud State University, an A.A.S. degree in Business Marketing from Anoka-Ramsey Community College, and a certificate from the Institute of Children’s Literature. Marlene’s a member of Sisters in Crime and Marco Island writers. The author has lived in Ohio, Maryland, and Iowa, but has resided in MN for many years.
