The Origami Kid: A Paperfolding Adventure

Mike uses his imagination and some origami paper to turn his boredom into excitement as he sets out on an epic journey, meeting new friends along the way. Includes instructions on how to fold origami shapes.

Robert McGuire is an award-winning artist and graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. His work has been shown across the country, including The Museum of The Society of Illustrators in New York City. In 2010, he was the recipient of the Evelyn Thurman Young Readers Award for his illustrations for the book The Last Black King of the Kentucky Derby. Robert has spent many years as a painter and illustrator in both the US and Japan. The Origami Kid is the first book that he has authored and illustrated.
