A Connecticut transplant, Charles Meyer is a graduate of M.I.T and The University of Chicago Business School. Mr. Meyer pursued a successful career in marketing and international business before taking an early retirement. In recent years, he has turned to dogs, writing, and painting. Mr. Meyer’s (CHM) paintings recently won distinction in the All Florida competition at the Boca Raton Museum of Art. A retrospective of his early paintings is included in his shortly forthcoming book "DOGGIE, My Life’s Story" soon to be available on Amazon. Mr. Meyer shortly will be releasing a DVD of DOGGIE’s autobiography, DOGGIE, My Life’s Story mentioned in this fairytale. Mr. Meyer also is the author of the book of linked short stories, "The Pinera Bread Murders" featuring homicide Inspector Charlie Chang (not Chan) This book introduced the world to Dana La Blonde before she and Betty Chang started their own PI business." Subsequent Chang & La Blonde Adventures from Mr. Meyer include: The Rainbow Express (originally published as As Time Goes By), Baltic Holiday, If You Know What I Mean, and Missing Spectacles. All four are also available as a set in The Collection of Chang and La Adventures - Vol 1. A fifth Chang & La Blonde adventure, Vanquishing Foes (a highly illustrated book) takes the beautiful would-be detectives into the realm of fantasy and introduces the world to The Wizardom of Hearts. Mr. Meyer’s most recent previous work is "Dirty Green Hands", a blend satire, adventure and murder in the world of organic fertilizer. There we meet Remo Dawg, a secretive PI wanted by the Mob for his past deeds back when he was a top undercover agent for The FBI. Mr. Meyer currently resides with his five rescue dogs and soon one chita in Margate, Florida. As Chang would put it: "Confucius say: "All work and no dogs makes for dull life." Fortunately, five dogs are enough to avoid that. The Chita doubly assures that.
