The Two Brothers and Other Stories

J. M. Norman was born in 1981 to a first-generation Mexican-American mother and a native Texan father whose family can be traced back to Ireland, England, and France. At a young age, most likely because of his parents love of reading and telling stories, he would make up his own to entertain them. When he was nine his parents divorced. This was the probable catalyst for his first trials at writing. None of that survived; however, at the age of twelve he began writing poetry, which he still does today and in college began writing down short stories. He has a Bachelor of Arts in French and Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture and a Master of Arts in English Literature and Composition. There you can read various critical essays on the subjects already mentioned and read some of his fiction and excerpts from other short stories not yet published on Kindle. He has a Youtube channel, titled ＂J. M. Norman＂ as well where he posts video essays on art (at the moment) but hopes to put something on literature there very soon. He also diligently submits his work to literary contests and magazines which he hopes will some day (whenever that may be) publish something of his.
